Violet Revolution

I have to say it was a little difficult for me to pick the ones I loved, because there were plenty of celebrity looks that were quite scary.  For example, what has happened to Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick?  They book look anorexic and he just looks creepy on top of it.

White, blush, and sequined head-to-toe dresses seemed were definitely the theme this year.  One thing is for sure, I need to start watching more television vs. Tivo’ing everything.  I have no freakin’ clue who some of these people are!  I did manage to find celeb’s I knew for my 5 favorites:

Okay, I do know who Kim Kardashian is, and even though all the buzz has been about her look; I do have to say she deserved the attention in her Grecian-inspired dress.

Julie Benz.  I also know who she is as Dexter is one of my favorites.  Maybe that’s why I don’t know some of these people, as I’m addicted to crime shows.  Regardless, I love how simple, yet sexy this dress is with the beaded circular cut-out on her side.

Cheryl Hines.  Another celebrity I know, but besides that I love her dress.  She looks damn good for her age (45) too!

Claire Danes…wow, I didn’t even realize this was Claire Danes at first!  It’s amazing what fake lashes can do for a girl!  Here’s one version of the head-to-toe sparkly dresses seen on various celebrities at the Emmy’s, but she definitely wore it well.  The man on her arm isn’t too shabby either!

Heidi Klum, do you ever look bad?  This woman was created to torture the rest of us who a) cannot look this perfect and b) cannot look this perfect after having 4 kids.
