I don’t know about you, but I felt like some of the Fall 2010 looks from last week’s NY Fashion Show seemed a little drab and unshapely. Maybe it’s me, but here’s a look from BCBG Max Azria’s Fall runway show last week, from their Spring 2010 show, and from their Fall 2009 show:
Where is the elegance? I just felt like everything was oversized and huge…which isn’t like BCBG MA. Usually their designs are more form-fitting and sexy. Same with Marc Jacobs, whom I normally love. This whole outfit is a huge, tiered triangle. Although, I did notice this oversized fur jacket look in multiple collections, it seemed some designers just did this better. I’m not even sure there’s sleeves! 
Everything just seemed very drab… I know we live in Chicago, and have the need to bundle up more in winter, but these seem so dowdy. I guess I just expected more pizazz from the runway, like these looks from Narcisco Rodriguez…
