If you’re like me, you’ve probably noticed the plethora of necklace tops and even dresses popping up in a lot of stores and boutiques these days. If you haven’t seen or noticed them, here’s some examples:

Personally, I think they’re a fantastic idea if you don’t like buying accessories, don’t have many to begin with, or don’t have or want to shell out funds these days for jewelry. Or if you don’t have much time to deal with accessorizing, like these would be ideal for a new mom who still wanted to wear a cute necklace, but not waste time picking out jewelry. (Of course, the baby might try to grab the necklace off the top, so maybe this is a bad idea.)
As for staying power, that remains to be seen. I haven’t seen too many people wearing them, so it doesn’t seem it’s saturating everyone’s wardrobe. In which case, it’s only a matter of time before the style becomes dated.
