Hot Pants (aka short shorts) were all over the runway for Spring this season, but how short is too short? They of course look great on rail-thin models, but are these a practical option for the everyday woman?

I’m going to go with ‘no’. Unless you have great legs, or are super-skinny, these shorts aren’t going to look as great on as they do in photos (sigh…if only all clothing looked as good on as it does on a rack or in pictures). I personally could not see myself wearing them as they are a little short for my taste. The only way I could be coaxed is if I know I’ll be standing most of the time, or I know I’ll be outdoors when it’s scorching hot. Otherwise, I find it really annoying that my legs “stick” to whatever I’m sitting on in warmer months, or I’m freezing indoors as most places kick up the air all summer long.
If you are one of the lucky few who canwear them, get your own vintage Levi’s pair from Avant Gaudy (see & click below). If not, stick with a longer-length short or dresses/skirts (stay tuned for my upcoming posts!) this spring and summer.

i think short shorts for spring 2010 is in! its nice to pair it with any tops!
